Brick Relay syncs your product catalog across sales channels. It can create and update products and inventory in Shopify when you use Add Product, but it does not access Shopify customers or orders, and it never sells your data. Last updated October 25, 2026.
When you connect your Shopify store, Brick Relay reads and (when you use Add Product or related features) writes catalog data through Shopify's Admin API:
Brick Relay requests these Shopify scopes: read_products, write_products, read_inventory, write_inventory, read_publications, and write_files. The write scopes are used to create or update products and inventory and to upload product photos from Add Product. Brick Relay does not request customers or orders scopes, so it collects no Shopify customer personal data and no order PII from your store.
For your Brick Relay account itself, we keep the email address you sign up with, your store's Shopify domain, and the OAuth access token, refresh token, and granted scopes Shopify issues when you connect.
If you choose CSV as your master source (or otherwise upload a catalog file), we also store the product rows you upload in your business's local Brick Relay catalog.
We use your catalog and account data only to run Brick Relay for your store: syncing and showing your master list and channel status on the dashboard; creating or updating products and inventory and uploading files when you use Add Product; ingesting a CSV master when you choose that path; and helping you when you contact support. We do not sell, rent, or use this data for advertising.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we don't use it for advertising. We share it only with the infrastructure needed to run the service, or when required by law.
Your data is stored on the Brick Relay server. Access is limited to the people who operate the service. Connections to the site and to Shopify use HTTPS.
We keep your store data while your Brick Relay account is active and your Shopify store is connected.
When you uninstall the app or ask us to delete your data, we remove your store's catalog data and access token. We honor Shopify's privacy webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact. Because we don't collect customer personal data, customer requests normally have nothing to return or erase, and a shop/redact request deletes your store's data.
Email contact@brickrelayapp.com to ask about your data or request deletion.
