Shopify holds your master catalog. Brick Relay reads it, shows you where every item is listed, and keeps your channels honest.
Brick Relay is inventory sync for independent brick stores. It keeps your sets, minifigs and parts consistent across the places you sell (Shopify, Whatnot, BrickLink, eBay and your counter) so you stop overselling the same item twice.
Brick Relay is a product of SEIL Apps, built for independent brick stores that need one stock count across every channel they sell on.
Brick Relay is a product of SEIL Apps. SEIL Apps builds practical tools for independent brick stores — Brick Relay is one of them.
Small and mid-size LEGO® and brick resellers who run Shopify and sell on one or more marketplaces. We're currently in a founder beta with a small group of stores.
Brick Relay is in founder beta and onboarding stores in small batches. Join the waitlist with your email and store name. When you're approved, we email you a one-time invite link to create your account. Already have an account? Log in as usual.
Brick Relay keeps a local master catalog for your business. You pick the master source on Profile (Rosetta Stone) — Shopify, a CSV upload, or later eBay / BrickLink. After ingest, that local catalog is the source of truth in Brick Relay. If Shopify is your master, change prices or stock in Shopify and click Sync now to refresh.
It connects through Shopify OAuth (or a custom app) with scopes: read_products, write_products, read_inventory, write_inventory, read_publications, and write_files. Write scopes power Add Product (create/update products and inventory, upload photos). It does not request customers or orders scopes.
Yes, when you use features that write — for example Add Product can create products, set inventory/cost, and upload photos. Routine Sync pulls catalog data into Brick Relay. Brick Relay still does not access Shopify customers or orders. You can disconnect Shopify anytime from Profile / the dashboard.
Through Whatnot's official, free Shopify sales channel app. You install it in Shopify and publish products to the Whatnot channel there. Shopify sends the products to Whatnot.
Brick Relay does not connect to Whatnot directly and doesn't use Whatnot's API for your catalog. Shopify is the bridge.
It reads each product's sales-channel publications from Shopify. If a product is published to the Whatnot channel in Shopify, the dashboard shows a Whatnot badge on it and counts it under the Whatnot card.
In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps, connect Shopify from your Brick Relay dashboard or Profile (OAuth). Grant the catalog scopes listed above (including write scopes for Add Product). Then click Sync now on your dashboard. During early beta, a custom app token may still be used if OAuth isn't set up yet.
Any sales channel installed in Shopify shows up automatically once you sync, because the status comes from Shopify's publication data. There's nothing extra to connect in Brick Relay.
BrickLink isn't a Shopify sales channel, so it needs its own connection. It's on the roadmap and shows as not connected on the dashboard until it ships. Tell us if it's a priority for your store.
It pulls your full catalog from Shopify right away and refreshes the master list and channel counts. If something goes wrong, such as a missing permission, the dashboard tells you what failed.
None of your Shopify products are published to that channel yet, or the channel isn't installed in Shopify. Publish products to it in Shopify, then click Sync now.
Yes. Brick Relay uses business accounts with role-based access. The business owns the Shopify connection and master list; teammates sign in with their own personal accounts (created from an approved invite) and join as members.
Per teammate: manage connections (connect or disconnect Shopify and other channels), view financials, and edit inventory. Owners always keep full access.
Yes. Brick Relay supports two-factor authentication with any authenticator app (TOTP), plus one-time recovery codes. It's required before anyone connects or disconnects Shopify and other channels, or views financials like billing and inventory value. Owners set it up first; managers and staff are asked to enroll the first time they reach a protected action. Only the owner can invite teammates or change their permissions.
Founder beta pricing starts at $49/mo. It's a flat monthly fee, never a percentage of your sales. Exact pricing for your store depends on what you sell and where, so contact us for a quote.
Brick Relay doesn't add per-sale fees. Shopify, Whatnot, eBay and BrickLink still charge their own fees under their own terms.
